Does anyone have trouble with their third week??

I hate this week of a diet, it can make you or break you. The first two weeks of a diet seem to go really well for me. Im motivated, planning ahead, and going strong. Third week comes and it never fails, I'm bored with the food, sick of planning and packing, and weak weak weak. Any tips for keeping up and staying on track?

  1. I feel your pain, Mama! It is only my second week and I feel it. I'm getting tired of running around the cafeteria scrounging food together that I can eat while my friends eat the most delicious smelling food right in front of me. I need some advice as well.

  2. Amanda I hear you! Bored is right. I mean really how many bananas and cuites can you eat. I have really been looking at the weight watcher recipes online and trying new things. I am even making a vegetable every night for dinner (woohoo). Bought that cook book at costco and love it. My husband is my weakness. On the days he is home it is cocktail hour after work! I really have to save on those days! Anyway keep going we can do this! :)

  3. Ya, that's what I've been doing too. Looking up new recipes. I made a good pasta with scallops the other night. It's on the WW site called Galic Pasta with Lemony scallops and tomatoes. It was VERY good.

I don't know what else to say for encouragement except how good it will feel to wear that pair of jeans I spent $$$ and only wore twice that I really want to wear again.

  4. That recipe sounds yummy! I am going to try it. Your statement about encouragement RIGHT ON! I keep thinking of all the clothes in my closet that will fit if I just keep plugging away! Especially my jeans! I have some really cute jeans that are folded up nicely in hopes that some day I will fit in them again!

  5. It's hard to feel crappy about your third week when you can't make it through your first...!

Instead of being discouraged like I usually am when I mess up, I've just been tracking it anyway and seeing the horrific number that pops up on my "daily points." However, it's been helpful because I was not about to do that today, so I committed to not going over my points value and I'm happy to say, I just finished 3 (yes, 3!) ground turkey tacos and I still have 4 points for dessert. Wooo!
